A vaccine that warms above 8°C may look exactly the same, yet stop working. An insulin pen left in a hot van can lose potency before it reaches the patient. When a temperature excursion happens, you may have to quarantine and write off the stock and explain why to your quality team.
We rent temperature-controlled vans and drivers to pharmacies and clinics, laboratories, and medical warehouses across the UAE. Our vans hold the temperature on your product’s label, record it throughout the trip, and give you a temperature log at the end.
Temperature: 2°C to 8°C
Monitoring:data logger records the cargo temperature throughout the trip
Hire: per trip, daily, weekly and monthly
Security: GPS-tracked, lockable cargo box
Many medicines carry a label that says “store below 25°C” or “store at 15–25°C”. In Europe, an
ordinary van often keeps them within that range. In the UAE, it doesn’t. The cargo area of a parked van in summer can pass 50°C within minutes.
So the question isn’t only “does this need a fridge?” It’s “will this product stay inside its label range for the whole journey?” For most medicines in a UAE summer, the honest answer is: only in a temperature-controlled vehicle.
| Label says | Typical products | Van setting |
|---|---|---|
| Store at 2°C–8°C. Do not freeze. | Vaccines, insulin, biologics, many injectables, some eye drops | Chiller, 2°C–8°C |
| Store at 15°C–25°C / below 25°C | Most tablets, capsules, syrups, creams, inhalers | Controlled room temperature, 15°C–25°C |
| Store frozen / below −15°C | Some vaccines, reagents, lab materials | Freezer, −18°C and below |
| Ultra-cold (−60°C to −80°C) | Some mRNA products, cell and gene therapies | Not offered. Use a specialist dry-ice courier. |
Tell us the exact storage condition on the pack and we'll set the van to it. If your product needs something we can't safely provide, we'll tell you before you book.
The driver brings the cargo box to your required range before arriving, so your stock never enters a warm or over-cold space.
Freezing can destroy vaccines and insulin as surely as heat. We set the unit inside the 2°C–8°C band, not at its lower edge, and you can use coolbox packaging inside the van for extra protection
Medicines travel without food, chemicals or other cargo in the same box
data logger records the cargo temperature throughout the trip
If the temperature drifts, the driver acts immediately and tells your contact person
The cargo box stays locked, live GPS shows where it is, and the driver doesn't leave a loaded van unattended.
Pharmacists and QA managers ask the same questions before approving a transport provider.
| Question | Our answer |
|---|---|
| What temperature range can the van hold? | 2°C–8°C, 15°C–25°C, or −18°C and below. Available ranges to be confirmed. |
| Do you provide a temperature record? | Yes, a trip log after every delivery. |
| Are your data loggers calibrated? | Calibration certificates, provider and date to be confirmed. |
| Has the vehicle been temperature-mapped? | Mapping status and report date to be confirmed. |
| What happens if the refrigeration unit fails? | The driver alerts you, and a replacement vehicle is arranged. Response time to be confirmed. |
| Do medicines share space with food? | Dedicated medicine transport arrangements to be confirmed. |
| Is the vehicle cleaned between jobs? | Yes, every van is cleaned and inspected before dispatch. |
| Is the vehicle insured? | Vehicle insurance stated as available. Policy details and licence number to be confirmed. |
| Can you sign a service agreement or quality agreement? | Service agreements are recommended for regular pharmaceutical accounts. Signing availability to be confirmed. |
| Who is responsible for GDP compliance? | Your licensed establishment is responsible for its GDP compliance. The transport provider supports this through vehicle, driver and delivery records, subject to the agreed service scope. |
In the UAE, the Emirates Drug Establishment (EDE) regulates medicines and medical devices at federal level and inspects how medical warehouses store and move medicines. DHA in Dubai and the Department of Health in Abu Dhabi license Pharmacies and Clinics and hospitals in their emirates.
Good Distribution Practice (GDP) requires a medicine's licensed owner, such as the pharmacy, warehouse or distributor, to keep it within its storage conditions and document that it did. That responsibility stays with your licensed establishment. Our role is to give you a vehicle, a driver and a temperature record that let you meet it.
We say this plainly because some transport providers claim to be "GDP certified" without a certificate to show. Ask any provider, including us, for documents rather than slogans.
Controlled and narcotic medicines follow separate legal rules on who may carry them. Tell us before booking and we'll confirm whether we can take the job.
Lab samples and clinical specimens need packaging that suits their category, and that packaging is the sender's responsibility. We provide the temperature-controlled transport.

Yes. We rent compact chiller vans that hold
2°C to 8°C for vaccine deliveries, per trip or on a regular schedule.
We set the unit inside the 2°C–8°C band, not at its
lowest point, to avoid freezing. For extra protection, pack sensitive products in validated cool
boxes inside the van.
In the UAE, usually yes. Summer heat pushes an ordinary van well above 25°C, which is outside the label range for most “room temperature” medicines.
Yes. We record the cargo
temperature throughout the trip and send you the log after delivery.
Yes. We transport lab samples at the temperature you specify.
The sender packs and labels the samples according to their category.
Tell us what's on the label and where it's going. We'll set the van to that range, send it preconditioned and give you the record at the end.
